Carmen Adame Obituary: Carmen Mary Adame, a beacon of love and faith, departed from this world on March 12, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on March 22, 1941, in Rifle, Colorado, Carmen was the beloved daughter of Leandro and Erminia Hernandez, who now welcome her home, along with her first husband, Miguel Adame, her son Michael Adame, her daughter Inez Montoya, and her grandson Michael Adame Jr.

Carmen’s journey was marked by unwavering dedication and service, particularly during her 25-year tenure at Walmart, where she served diligently in Denver and Pueblo. Her commitment to her job was only surpassed by her devotion to her family, whom she cherished as the core of her existence. As the matriarch of four generations, Carmen’s presence was a guiding light, and her loss reverberates deeply within each of our hearts.

Faith was the cornerstone of Carmen’s life, and her devout spirit was evident in her daily prayers, especially her devotion to the rosary. Known affectionately as a Prayer Warrior, Carmen tirelessly interceded for the well-being of others, embodying the essence of selflessness and compassion. Her radiant smile and remarkable resilience made her a true role model, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carmen found joy in celebrations and cherished moments spent with her family, where she imparted invaluable life lessons and shared her boundless love with each generation. Her heart of gold touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unconditional love.

Carmen is survived by her loving husband, Rafael Rosales Soto, her children Cristina (Efrain) Romero and Andres Adame, her grandchildren Maria Montoya, Victor Montoya, Armando Perez, Jose Montoya, Veronica Perez, Ricardo Montoya, and Julian Adame, her siblings Salvadore (Janette) Hernandez and JoAnne Guara, as well as 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed by interment at Roselawn Cemetery. As we bid farewell to Carmen, let us carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and compassion, honoring her memory in our hearts forevermore.
