Kent Anderson Obituary: Kent Elwin Anderson, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, entered this world on January 24, 1945, in Rexburg, Idaho, born to C. Victor Anderson and Lillie R. Schofield. Surrounded by his loving family, Kent peacefully departed from this life on March 4, 2024, at the age of 79, in Amarillo, Texas.

Kent and his beloved wife, Charlet Ann Price, embarked on a journey together, settling in the Pacific Northwest where they raised their eight children: Wendi (Larry) Graves; Ryan (Rhonda) Anderson; Heather (Farrell) James; Dedra (Ken) Cheney; Garen (Andrea) Anderson; Adam (Casandra) Anderson; Gina (Joseph) Alsop; and Kyle Anderson. Their union was a testament to enduring love, lasting for 41 years until Charlet’s passing in 2010.

A devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kent’s life was guided by his unwavering faith and dedication to temple service and genealogy. He possessed a profound testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and of our Eternal Father in Heaven. Kent’s passion for sharing the gospel extended beyond the walls of his church, as he seized every opportunity to impart his beliefs to friends and strangers alike. His missionary service at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, conducting genealogical research and family history work, exemplified his commitment to his faith.

Kent is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Charlet, and two grandsons, Robert and Jacob. He is survived by his eight children, 29 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, with another blessing on the way, as well as his four siblings.

Kent’s profound love and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Though he may have departed from this earthly realm, his legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
