Sandi Drew (Levine) Biron, aged 89, passed away at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI, leaving behind a legacy of courage, talent, and boundless love. She was born on March 22, 1934, in Great Barrington, MA, to the late William and Estelle (Sandrew) Levine.

Sandi’s life was a testament to resilience and the relentless pursuit of her passions. With an insatiable thirst for adventure, she fearlessly charted her own course, breaking barriers and embracing new opportunities with unwavering determination. After attending City College of New York and the Fashion Institute of Technology, Sandi lent her creative talents to Allied Printing in Providence and Progressive Publishing in Malvern, PA.

However, it was on the stage where Sandi truly found her calling. A born entertainer, she enchanted audiences with her captivating dancing, infectious comedy, and powerful singing voice. From the bustling theaters of New England to the vibrant stages of the mid-Atlantic and upper mid-Western states, Sandi’s performances lit up the night with energy and charisma. As a cherished member of the Coastline Show Chorus, she earned three blue ribbons and lent her voice to the harmony of the Valley Forge Chorus, both affiliated with Sweet Adelines International.

Sandi’s accomplishments knew no bounds, and she defied expectations at every turn. In 1970, during an era when barriers seemed insurmountable, she boldly obtained her commercial pilot license—a testament to her indomitable spirit and unwavering resolve.

Sandi’s greatest pride and joy were her three children: Cara Dalton and her husband Glenn, Steven Silverbush and his wife Karen, and Shanna Wells and her husband James Sedgwick. She also leaves behind her beloved grandson, Samuel Dalton, who filled her heart with boundless love and joy.

In honoring Sandi’s wishes, final arrangements will be held privately, with only immediate family in attendance.
