Randy Sr obituar: Randy Keith Ellis, Sr., aged 75, of Canton, Ohio, who peacefully departed from this world on March 15, 2024, after bravely battling declining health. Randy’s indomitable spirit and unwavering courage were evident throughout his life, touching the hearts of all who knew him.
Born on April 24, 1948, Randy was the cherished son of the late Blaine and Wanda Ellis (Guilliam). In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Ellis (Parrish), his infant daughter, Shelly Ellis, and his son, Shawn Ellis. Although Randy’s physical presence is no longer with us, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved.
Randy leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, survived by his sons, Randy K. Ellis, II, and Aaron Ellis, along with his grandchildren, Landon, Taylor, and Randy “Tre”, III. He also leaves behind his daughter-in-law, Michelle Ellis, and his sisters, Robin (John Beckley) Cutcher and Leslie (James) Brown. Randy’s love for his family knew no bounds, and his memory will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration for all who knew him.
A proud veteran, Randy honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School, and throughout his professional life, he dedicated himself to his work at Timken Co., Winters, and Cosmos. Randy was known for his strength of character and his amiable nature, endearing himself to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His love for animals, particularly his dogs, K.C. and Buddy, was evident to all who knew him.
In accordance with Randy’s wishes, no public services will be held. Cremation care has been entrusted to Reed Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Randy’s honor to the Stark County Humane Society, reflecting his deep compassion for animals.
As we bid farewell to Randy, let us carry forth his legacy of love, courage, and kindness. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever remain a guiding light in our lives. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
