Born on July 17, 1942, in Newburgh, NY, Sherry was the cherished daughter of the late Stephen John Peller and Eleanor Cecelia Monahan. She embarked on her educational journey at Newburgh Free Academy, graduating in 1960, and furthered her studies at the Spencerian Business School, also in Newburgh.

Sherry’s professional journey began at Perrott Funeral Home in Newburgh, where fate intervened, and she crossed paths with the love of her life, Carl John DiDonato, Jr., who preceded her in death on January 5, 2024. Their union was one of enduring love and shared dreams.

Together, Sherry and Carl ventured into the business world, purchasing the Tuthill Funeral Home in Marlboro, NY, where they would not only build a successful enterprise but also establish a loving home for their family. For 49 years, they tirelessly served their community, providing solace and support to those in need.
