Theresa Fahmie Obituary: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Theresa Fahmie of Ramsey, N.J., on March 15, 2024. Theresa, aged 79, was surrounded by the love of her family as she embarked on her final journey.
Born on November 28, 1944, in Paterson, N.J., Theresa’s life was characterized by love, devotion, and cherished moments with her family. She was a beacon of warmth and affection, known for her unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
Theresa’s greatest joy in life was found in her roles as a mother and grandmother. She showered her five grandchildren, Malina, Michaella, Anthony, Gianna, and Sienna, with boundless love and affection, creating precious memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
As a skilled hairdresser and business owner, Theresa brought beauty into the lives of her clients and community. However, her most fulfilling role was undoubtedly that of a devoted Catholic, finding solace and strength in her faith. Theresa was a cherished member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, where her presence and kindness touched the lives of many.
Theresa is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Yvonne and Michael Raab, and Edward and Vicky Miller. She also leaves behind her sisters, Mary Acquaire, Florence Acquaire, and Gladys Attenasio, along with her nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gladys Fahmie, and her brother, Michael. While Theresa’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit of love and kindness will continue to guide and inspire us all.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, located at 109 Darlington Avenue in Ramsey, NJ, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM. A funeral service will commence at 12 PM at the funeral home, followed by interment at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Theresa’s memory to a charity close to your heart, honoring her legacy of love and compassion. As we bid farewell to Theresa, may her gentle soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
