Kyle Jackson Obituary: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kyle Aiden Jackson, age 19, of Lyons, who tragically lost his life in an automobile accident near Vidalia on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Kyle was a cherished son, brother, friend, and member of the Lyons community whose vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Kyle was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, where he attended Toombs County High School and graduated with the Class of 2023 from Coastal Plains Charter High School in Vidalia. He was a hardworking young man who dedicated himself to his job at Partin Park in Lyons for two years before becoming a salesman at Sell Em All Motors in Vidalia. Kyle was known for his passion for duck hunting, his love for the “car and truck scene,” and his adventurous spirit, often seen riding four-wheelers with friends.
A self-proclaimed “social media star,” Kyle had a knack for bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He was funny, charming, and deeply family-oriented, finding his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones. Kyle’s magnetic personality and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Kyle is preceded in death by his father, Taylor Jackson, and paternal grandmother, Savilla Vaughn Taylor. He is survived by his devoted mother, Nicole Harden, and her husband, Phillip, of Lyons; stepmother, Ariel Jackson of Lyons; sisters, Rebecca Jackson, Addisyn Harden, and Triniti Jackson, all of Lyons; grandparents, maternal grandmother Dianne Drawdy of Lyons, maternal grandfather Dave Feltenberger and wife Lisa of Okeechobee, Florida, paternal grandmother Gina Jackson of Vidalia, maternal great-grandmother Shirley Clifton Roberson of Alston, and paternal great-grandmother Shelby Jackson of Higgston, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home on Monday evening, March 11th, from 6:00 until 8:00. A funeral service honoring Kyle’s life will be held on Tuesday morning, March 12th, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home, with Pastor Doyle Waller and Pastor Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kyle’s close friends: Chase Musselman, Me’Elle Morrison, Gabe Mosley, Trew Shokoh-Alai, K’leb Crapps, Hunter Barwick, Ethan Towns, Noah Tippett, Cameron McCoy, Gavyn Singleton, and Chandler Lynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, honoring Kyle’s compassionate spirit and desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Though Kyle’s time with us was far too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and light he brought into the world.
