He leaves behind his cherished and dearly loved wife, Geraldine, and their darling daughter, Jo, who held a special place in his heart. Nick, Jo’s beloved husband, also mourns the loss of his dear father-in-law.
Buck was the eldest son of the late Buckley and Annie Benson, and he shared a deep bond with his siblings Margaret, Peter, and Russell, despite the loss of his brother Thomas. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to Stephanie and a loved uncle to his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his immediate family, Buck was a treasured brother-in-law to Janice Jaeger and Dennis and Gerdy Cobbing. Although Leigh Cobbing has departed this life, his memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Buck’s presence brought light and joy to all who knew him, and his memory will forever live on in their hearts. His family and friends are invited to honor his life at his funeral service, which will take place at the Hall of Fame, Circular Head Community and Recreation Centre, at 11 am on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Following the service, a private cremation will be held.
