Margaretha Anna: Margaretha Anna, fondly known as Margaret, graced this world from November 2, 1946, until she peacefully departed on March 15, 2024, at Peace Haven. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Margaret was the beloved wife of Chayne, who preceded her in death, and the devoted mother and mother-in-law of Dion and Kay, Tammy and Jason, Penny and Chris, Simon and Simone, and Jason and Kaisa. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her 29 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her Oma.
Her passing is not only mourned by her family but also by the caregivers and staff at Peace Haven and the Palliative Care team, whose compassionate care provided comfort to Margaret and her loved ones during her final days.
Relatives and friends are invited to join in Margaret’s funeral service, which will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Young Street, East Devonport, at 10 am on Friday, March 22, 2024. Following the service, interment will take place at the Mersey Vale Lawn Cemetery.
As we gather to bid farewell to Margaret, let us remember her for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the enduring legacy of kindness she leaves behind. Though she may have left this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
