Danny Rigoni Obituary: It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Warrant Officer Class 2 Danny “Riggers” Rigoni, a beloved member of the Royal Australian Armoured Corps, who tragically left us a few days ago.
Danny was not just a soldier; he was a cornerstone of the 10th Light Horse, where he began his journey in the early 90s. With Assault troopers and M113’s, he embarked on a path marked by dedication and service to his country.
Transitioning to the regular army, Danny’s career took him across the nation, but his heart always remained with the 10th Light Horse, where he returned as a training Warrant Officer.
Under his mentorship, the unit achieved remarkable success, winning Brigade Mil skills competitions and forging bonds of camaraderie that endured.
