Missing Riley Strain Found Died: The body of Riley Strain, a University of Missouri student who went missing during a trip to Nashville two weeks ago, has been tragically discovered in the Cumberland River.

The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed the devastating news on Friday, stating that Strain’s body was recovered approximately 8 miles from downtown Nashville, with no signs of foul play-related trauma observed. An autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.

Strain disappeared after leaving Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink, a popular restaurant and bar owned by country singer Luke Bryan, where he had been drinking with fraternity brothers.

According to reports from various sources, including the St. Louis Post Dispatch and local news affiliates, Strain was asked to leave the establishment.

The Delta Chi fraternity member had traveled to Tennessee with his fraternity brothers for their annual formal event.

Chris Whiteid, Strain’s stepfather, shared that Strain had FaceTimed his mother from a different bar sometime before 8 p.m. local time on the night he went missing.

The discovery of Riley Strain’s body brings immense sorrow to his family, friends, and the community at large. As they mourn his loss, they seek answers and closure in the wake of this heartbreaking tragedy.
