Man killed in crash on I-20: Tragic news struck the community as Nathaniel Jones, 64, lost his life in a fatal crash on Interstate 20 near the Warren/Taliaferro County Line.
According to McDuffie County Coroner Nathaniel Jones, the accident occurred when Jones, driving a 2008 BMW, collided with the rear of an 18-wheeler that was slowing down for a tree in the westbound lane of I-20.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Nathaniel Jones succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. The Georgia State Patrol has launched an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances leading to the collision.
