The missing Ohio teen, Kaylee Cope, who was the subject of an Amber Alert, has been found safe, and her boyfriend, Jeffery Gimenez, is now in custody, according to police reports.
The ordeal began when Kaylee Cope, a 15-year-old from Grove City, Ohio, was reported missing by her mother, Heather Zogleman, early Saturday morning.
Kaylee had left their home the previous night, and her mother grew concerned when she couldn’t reach her daughter by phone.
Police discovered that Kaylee was with her 17-year-old boyfriend, Jeffery Gimenez, who had allegedly posted a disturbing video of himself holding a handgun just hours before. In the video, Gimenez reportedly made threatening statements indicating harm towards Kaylee.

Authorities moved swiftly to locate Kaylee and apprehend Gimenez, recovering a stolen vehicle believed to be connected to the case in the process. It’s believed that Gimenez took Kaylee around 11:30 p.m. on Friday.
