Joseph Chama Obituary: Joseph Azuza Chama, celebrated as a courageous officer who bravely confronted terrorists during the harrowing DusitD2 attack, tragically took his own life following the loss of his beloved mother, Mary Anael Chama.

Azuza, aged 43, stood as a beacon of bravery amidst the chaos of the DusitD2 attack on January 15, 2019.

His unwavering courage in the face of danger, as he valiantly confronted heavily armed terrorists, earned him admiration and respect from colleagues and the public alike.

His selfless actions, captured by journalists amid the chaos, saved countless lives and garnered recognition from President Uhuru Kenyatta himself.

However, despite his remarkable heroism on that fateful day, Azuza found himself grappling with an unbearable sorrow following the passing of his mother on March 5, 2024, after a prolonged illness.
