The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has confirmed that the deaths of two 16-year-old boys discovered shot along Interstate 5 in Seattle.
According to Trooper Rick Johnson, the WSP made this determination after interviewing the families of the victims.
The sequence of events began when a driver reported seeing a person in a northbound lane of the freeway on Thursday night. Upon arrival, troopers found the first teenager with gunshot wounds, indicating foul play rather than a traffic accident.
The following morning, another distressing call led authorities to the discovery of a second body in a ditch along the same stretch of I-5. This grim find occurred near the area where the first teenager was found, raising further suspicions of a connection between the two incidents.

Like his counterpart, the second teenager also bore gunshot wounds, prompting investigations into whether the shootings occurred on the freeway or elsewhere.
Tragically, both young boys succumbed to their injuries, underscoring the severity of the situation.
One teen was located in a ditch near the freeway ramp close to North 85th Street and I-5, while the other was found approximately half a mile away, adding to the complexity of the investigation.
