Ayden Vargas accident: The Kerrville community is grappling with profound sadness following a tragic single-vehicle accident that claimed the life of one young soul on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
The incident occurred around 1:37 a.m. in the 200 block of Holdsworth, leaving a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved the victim.
While details of the accident continue to unfold, it is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of a beloved member of our community, whose name is being withheld by the Kerrville Police Department at this time.
Their presence touched the lives of many, and their memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing them.
The accident involved a 2007 BMW traveling east on Holdsworth Drive, which tragically left the roadway, overturned and collided with a tree. Despite the immediate response of Kerrville Police and Kerrville Fire EMS, the outcome was devastating.
One passenger, a 15-year-old resident of Kerrville, was declared deceased at the scene, leaving behind a family and community engulfed in grief.
