Demont Webb Crash: Demont Webb, a 19-year-old resident of Jefferson City, tragically lost his life in a devastating crash on U.S. Highway 63 in Callaway County early Sunday morning.The collision also left four others injured.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Webb was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer south on the highway near County Road 399 around 1:44 a.m.
when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road. Webb, who had been returning from Columbia after picking up friends,
The force of the impact caused the vehicle to overturn, coming to rest on its top in the median.
Tragically, Webb was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His mother, Katie Hinton, shared the profound grief of losing her son, especially compounded by the recent death of his half-brother just two months prior.

“To lose two really good souls so close has been very hard on everybody, very hard on them,” Hinton expressed, reflecting on the immense pain her family has endured.
