Felicia Barbee-Battle,30, murder, Police: Woman killed by ex-boyfriend charged with first-degree murder

Tevin Leach 30, murder, The Apex community is reeling from the tragic loss of Felicia Barbee-Battle, a beloved member of the community.

According to the Apex Police Department, Barbee-Battle’s ex-boyfriend, Tevin Leach, 30, is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with her death.

Reports indicate that Leach had previously visited Molly Maid, and on the fateful morning, he approached Barbee-Battle while she was at work. Moments later, gunshots rang out, and Barbee-Battle was fatally wounded.

Despite efforts to save her, Barbee-Battle succumbed to her injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital.

The entire community is mourning the loss of a vibrant soul whose life was cut short in a senseless act of violence.

Following the incident, a manhunt ensued, with authorities tracking down Leach in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
