The community of Co Down is reeling from another tragedy as they mourn the sudden passing of Lorcán Branagan, a talented GAA player, in Sydney, Australia.
Lorcán, in his twenties, tragically left this world, marking the second devastating loss for his family after the passing of his brother Peárce in 2018.
Lorcán, a gifted dual player for his local club Clonduff, was known for his prowess in both hurling and Gaelic football.
He had been eagerly anticipated to return home to rejoin the senior team in the upcoming weeks. The news of his untimely departure has left the entire community in shock and sorrow.
