Matthew Hoffman single-vehicle accident, Kearney, 20-year-old young man died

Matthew Hoffman single-vehicle accident, The young man who tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash last week has been identified as Matthew W. Hoffman, aged 20, of Kearney.

According to the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 5:40 a.m. on Friday on Cottonmill Road.

Preliminary investigations by the Sheriff’s Office revealed that Hoffman was traveling southbound on Cottonmill Road, just west of Kearney, at the time of the crash.

Unfortunately, his vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled over, resulting in Hoffman being ejected from the vehicle. There were no other passengers in the car.

Regrettably, Hoffman was discovered deceased at the scene of the accident. The Buffalo County Attorney’s Office has ordered an autopsy, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
