11-year-old boy Obituary: The Shore School community in Sydney is mourning the tragic loss of a beloved year 11 student who passed away on Wednesday night.
The student, described as popular and active within the school community, died following what appears to have been an anaphylactic reaction to food after leaving a school sports function.
The incident occurred while the student was travelling home with his family after 10 pm.
A spokesperson for the school expressed shock and extended deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the student.
The school has offered support and counseling to the family, fellow students, and staff affected by the loss.
Out of respect for the family’s privacy, the spokesperson did not disclose further details about the incident.
