Fiona Gallacher Obituary: Fiona Gallacher, 33, had been experiencing severe stomach pains for around two months before she was told she had stage four adenocarcinoma – a cancer that grows in the glands of vital organs – on January 8.

The passing of Fiona Gallacher, a young mother of four, has deeply saddened her family and community.

Fiona’s journey with cancer began when she experienced severe stomach pains, initially attributing them to feeling unwell.

Her condition worsened, leading to bouts of sickness and a swollen abdomen, which she mistook for pregnancy. Concerned, Fiona sought medical attention, leading to emergency surgery to address the underlying issue.

Tragically, the surgery revealed advanced stage four adenocarcinoma, offering Fiona only a short time to live.

Despite the devastating diagnosis, Fiona faced her illness with courage and resilience. She passed away on March 22 2024, leaving behind her four beloved children, Graham, Kevin, Emmaleigh, and Charlie-May.

Fiona’s sister, Kellyann, fondly remembers her as a devoted and selfless mother, always putting her children first.
