Iola Roberts Obituary: Beloved mother passed away at 89

Iola Roberts Obituary: Iola Roberts on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, at The Alexandra Nursing Home in Tywyn, at the age of 89.

She was the beloved wife of the late Caradoc, and a loving mother to David, Mark, Paul, and the late Nona.

She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Jennifer, Miriam, Joy, and Chris, and a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her presence will be deeply missed by her entire family and her many friends.

A public service to celebrate Iola’s life will be held on Monday, April 15th, at 1:00 p.m. at Aberystwyth Crematorium.

Following the service, there will be an opportunity for friends and family to share stories and memories of Iola at the Rhydypennau Inn in Bow Street.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at The Alexandra Nursing Home for their kindness and care.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully received towards Nightingale House Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support, care of the funeral director.
