Originally from Newport, Nichala was a beloved member of the community, known for her passion for teaching and her unwavering determination to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

She taught English and Film Studies at Katharine Lady Berkeley School in Gloucestershire, where she touched the hearts of many students over the years.

Her commitment to educating others about the disease and advocating for early detection was a testament to her selflessness and compassion.

Born in Berlin in 1987, Nichala’s upbringing was marked by frequent moves due to her parent’s military service.
