Hector Eccles Crash, Teen Boy died frome crash in a farm field

Hector Eccles Crash: The heartbroken family of a teenager have paid loving tribute to their “beautiful, kind and lovely” boy after he was killed in a crash in a farm field.

Hector Eccles tragically died after the farm vehicle he was riding crashed in a field after leaving the carriageway in the early hours of Saturday (March 30th 2024).


The 16-year-old from Worsthorne in Lancashire, died in the crash. A 17-year-old man from Burnley who was riding as a passenger on the vehicle was not seriously injured, police said.

No other vehicles were involved. Officers said they were called to Extwistle Road, near Burnley, at 12.41am on March 30 2024

following reports that a Polaris Ranger Farmbike had left the carriageway and crashed in a field, according to a statement from Lancashire Police.
