Sarah McNally Longford, NY: Following an alleged knife attack in a bar in the New York City borough of Queens on Saturday evening, an Irish woman tragically passed away.
Sarah McNally, an Irish immigrant working at the Céilí House pub in Queens, was allegedly stabbed in the neck by her boyfriend on Saturday.
Sarah McNally, aged 41, from Longford town, she was employed as a bartender at The Céilí House, a well-known tavern in Maspeth, an area with a significant Irish community.
Emergency services responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at around 6:34 pm (11:34 pm Irish time) at the bar situated on Grand Avenue.
Upon arrival, the police discovered two individuals with injuries – a woman who had sustained a severe stab wound to the neck and a man with similar injuries to his back and neck.
Both victims were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, initially listed in critical condition. Unfortunately, the woman was later pronounced dead by hospital staff.
Details regarding the man’s age, identity, or condition have not yet been disclosed.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation into the incident continues.
