Nathan Horne Obituary: A 31-year-old man from Genesee Township died on Monday from injuries he sustained in a crash five days earlier.
Burton Police Chief Brian Ross said Nathan Horne’s family decided to remove his life support on Monday evening and he died.
Horne was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck south on Genesee Road — allegedly at a high rate of speed, around 9:55 a.m. on March 27 with his flashers on and weaving in and out of traffic, Ross said.
Horne allegedly ran a red light at the intersection of Genesee Road and Court Street, where his pickup truck was hit by a GMC Sierra.
The impact caused Horne to lose control and slam into the I-69 overpass pillars along Genesee Road.
